SOCIAL STEALTH VR GAME MANNEQUIN LAUNCHES ON APP LAB MAY 2
All 4 maps, friend support and more come to hit multiplayer game as SideQuest Open Alpha comes to an end this week
Fast Travel Games, a leading developer and publisher of VR games, today announced the release date for the Early Access version of its social stealth VR game, Mannequin, on App Lab for Meta Quest. The game will launch on May 2 for $19.99, with promotional codes available to discount the game to $9.99 during its launch weekend. The free Open Alpha for the game will come to a close ahead of launch on April 28.

Early Access marks the next major milestone for Mannequin’s tense and deceptive asymmetrical gameplay, in which one team of up to three aliens pose as frozen human statues and ambush the opposing side of up to two Agents. The Early Access version of the game will include all 4 maps that were previously split into pairs during the game’s Open Alpha stage, as well as support for the Meta Quest friend system, left handed support and more.
More information on obtaining the launch discount codes will be available on Mannequin’s social channels once Early Access has launched. A community tournament marking the end of the Open Alpha will also be hosted on Discord on April 28. Previously split across Open Alpha releases, every map seen in the game so far will be available with updated visuals, making this the most complete version of Mannequin to date.
IMPROVED FRIEND SUPPORT
Players will now have their Meta account names listed and access to their friends lists in-game. Mannequin will also support party play and custom games will now have the option to be password protected.
BETTER PERFORMANCE AND FEATURES
Smoother gameplay alongside new features such as a left-handed mode.
